It’s not the Escort Cosworth homologation model, so it’s ok.
For my fellow Oppos who reside in the USA, apparently they’re doing a giveaway of a Barrett M82 50cal so I hope one of you win.

God that is a good use

I too hope that an Oppo wins the .50 rifle and they throw in some armored piercing incendiary rounds like in the video.
you know... for deer hunting or “home defence”

So it can withstand this? But they also randomly drop valve seats and grenade themselves too...

Hey, if your home is far from be road and you see trouble coming your way...

I didn’t realize he was an oppo type.

While I don’t support firing on vehicles driving towards your home without knowing their intentions, I would make an exception for any J body.

WHAT? They are doing a ‘give-away’ or a Barrett M82A1?
I don’t think you’d ever hear those words in a very large percentage of the world. Only in ‘Murkah.

There’s a company called Classic Firearms that gives one away once or twice a year. #Murica

I want to win this so badly. Would keep my . 300 Win Mag company.
I actually almost bought an EDM . 50 about a year & a half ago. Instead I got a new living room set. But it’s gonna happen one day! And I’ll provide Oppo with pics of the crappy cars I destory with it!

It’s incredible, what a country.
Armor piercing incendiary round isn’t exactly something you hear everyday, either. Regular rounds and guns already cost a fortune in Canada which is why I enjoy my guns vicariously.

Well, to a degree. A few API rounds seems to take it out completely. He did his standard procedure of starting with the .22LR and moved up to the .50cal API rounds.

I can’t get my head around that.

You could’ve at least shot your old living room set with the rifle you have.

It’s hard to wrap your head around a .50 because it usually just leaves behind a pink mist.

I sold it to some sucker nice person to help recoup like 5% of the cost of the new set. Helped get me back closer to my .50 goal.

I’ll just settle for a U.K. £511 , 199 8 (S reg) Ford Escort estate, 57,5 00miles.

Ooo, nice. I’d spare that one the .50.

In my experience, the Ford 1.9L and 2L SPI engine is a relatively lightly stressed, cool-running engine. You can probably drive it gently without coolant for a decent while before it would overheat.
It’s a shame to see a perfectly good (aside from the transmission) Escort get destroyed.
Also, he says it’s a 1993 Ford Escort wagon, but the design of the headlights clearly shows that it’s a 1997-1999 model.
A 1993 North American Escort looks like this:

I want to see what his pickup bed looks like after using the bipod stand to take all the recoil.

Hey, if we didn’t have the right to own armor piercing incendiary rounds, the Queen could just waltz in here any time she wanted and start levying minor taxes on tea and preprinted legal forms.
